About Us
SImple beginnings
The concept of an industry specific VPP work group was born from a conversation in 2018 during a VPPPA National Safety Symposium. The conversation continued and expanded to included other industry safety leaders. Finally, this group held its first open meeting in February of 2020.
Building momentum
The first meeting was attended by participants from seven power generation companies across the country. The group has expanded to include participants from more than 25 companies as well as State and Federal OSHA.
